Proverbs 14_12

(This post is inspired by a sermon by John MacArthur but differs from him in wording and the revelation of Spirit and Truth.)

There are five insidious lies that mankind espouses.

  1. Life is random
  2. Truth is relative
  3. People are basically good
  4. Everyone can change for the better if they want to
  5. The goal of life is self-satisfaction

However, the TRUTH is opposite of what mankind thinks

  1. God is absolutely Sovereign
  2. The Living Word of God Is Absolutely TRUE and Unchanging
  3. Everyone was born a sinner
  4. Only through rebirth in Christ can anyone really change
  5. Pleasing Yahweh (God Almighty) and inheriting eternal Life is the goal

  2. Amen Bishop! Once we come to the knowledge that each individual person needs Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit and God, we can then know that (we) cannot live life without God, Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit! All praise to God our Father and Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour!
