In almost every club, group, fraternity, sorority, organization, team league or union, membership has its privileges with regards to helping other members and receiving aid whenever needed. (Ref. Acts 4:33-35)
Baptists support other Baptists. Untied Methodists support other United Methodists. Presbyterians support other Presbyterians. African Methodists Support other African Methodists. Catholics support other Catholics. Pentecostals support other Pentecostals. Apostolics support other Apostolics. It is a given that to have membership in any organization or group is to be obligated to help any other member of that group or organization where possible. But Saints do not appear to be under the same obligation as other groups.
Christianity seems to be the only group that doesn’t have any privileges or general consensus whereby it is understood that ALL Saints are obligated to assist or help and show hospitality to ALL other Saints who are in need.
Being a good Christian doesn’t get you anywhere with other Christians or Saints these days. Unless you are a member of their congregation, their denomination, their belief system, their fraternity, their sorority or in their political-economic or social niche, you are treated as an undeserving and unworthy nobody.
But that is not what God commanded or expects of His Saints. That is not indicative of THE LOVE of GOD or the SPIRIT OF CHRIST.
Titus 3:14
And our people must also learn to devote themselves to good works in order to meet the pressing needs of others, so that they will not be unfruitful.Romans 12:13
Share with the saints who are in need. Practice hospitality.Hebrews 6:10
For God is not unjust; He will not forget your work and the love you showed for His name when you served the saints—and you continue to serve them.1 John 3:17
If anyone has material possessions and sees (understands that) a brother or sister is in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?1 Timothy 6:17-19
Instruct those who are rich in the present age not to be arrogant or to set their hope on the uncertainty of wealth, but on God, who richly provides us with all things to enjoy. Instruct them to do what is good, to be rich in good works, to be generous, willing to share, storing up for themselves a good reserve for the age to come, so that they may take hold of life that is real.
REPENT!
