And He (The Holy Messiah) personally gave some to be apostles (emissaries), some prophets, some evangelists (Proclaimers of the GOOD NEWS), some pastors and teachers (Shepherds-Teachers), for the training of the Saints (not Christians) in the work of ministry (Service), to build up the body of The Messiah (HIS EKKLESIA), until we all arrive at the unity evidenced by our submissive obedience, trusting and knowing the Son of God, at full manhood, at the standard of maturity set by The Messiah’s perfection.
