The things that we call “Love” these days appear to be strange and perverted from what God considers love.
For example:
We cannot all worship together yet we say that we love each other.
Some churches are instructed by their pastors not to visit other churches but yet they say that they love God.
One pastor or fellow Christian ignores the destitution and misery of another yet we say that we love each other.
Some churches and pastors would rather build larger worship facilities and increase pastor salaries to excessive amounts, live in extravagant homes in gated communities and drive cars and ride in private planes that other Christians couldn’t afford in a lifetime rather than financially assist the widows, the elderly and the sick and disabled in any appreciable, meaningful or significant way yet they say that they love God. (Acts 4:34-35)
Some Christian are so prejudices as to sit back and say what some other Christians don’t need and hinder others from helping them, yet they say that they love everybody.
They Are All Liars!
1 John 4:20 says:
But if a man or woman will say, “I love God”, and he or she hates another believer, he or she is lying; for they who do not love their brother or sister in Christ whom they have seen, cannot love God who is invisible.
And 1 John 3:17 says:
If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?
The only way anyone can see the love of God in us is in how we respond to each other.
John 13:34-35
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another. “By this all men will know that you are My disciples, if you have love for one another.”
Will God Call You A Liar?
Revelation 21:8
“…and all liars–they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”
