The Problem with Christianity is that it, through centuries of forced compliance with State Sanctioned Christianity and brainwashing propaganda, has convinced people that GOD speaks only to them and through their Emperors, Popes, Christian Institutions, agents, priests, Pastors and churches.
To a large extent, Christianity tells GOD that if He has anything to say, that He must say it in accordance with and in the vernacular of their Catholic or Protestant Faiths (Denominations), churches and traditions.
Christianity also attempts to undermine GOD’S authority and prerogative with regards to who He chooses to send as HIS MESSENGER – discrediting and dismissing anyone sent by FATHER YHVH who does not subscribe to their mainstream and/or State sanctioned Christian views, theologies and/or biblical interpretations, social morals and philosophies and Christian holidays.
Christianity assumes prerogatives that only belong to GOD.
It was Christianity that sought to change GOD’S Seventh-day Sabbath to Sunday – the first day of the week, WHEN GOD DOES NOT CHANGE (Ref. Daniel 7:25).
The following is a brief and impassioned commentary by Bishop O.W. Prince on the willful and seemingly unconscious disobedience of Catholic and Protestant Churches and Religions with regards to GOD’S commandments and the teachings of Christ’s Apostles.
At this season of the year, local, state and national celebrities and personality, businesses, churches and other agencies are being publicized for their generosity to the poor and the needy. News Networks, Social Media, Newspapers and other communication outlets publicly broadcast well planned and orchestrated acts of giving and generosity at Christmas time by.
Why are so many folks pretending to care about the needs of others at Christmas while ignoring the financial and ongoing living needs of the destitute, the poor, the homeless, the downcast, the poorly clothed and naked, the hungry and the medically and physically disabled all the rest of the year?
Why are some folks anxious to be seen giving money, merchandise and food to the needy and not so needy this time of the years and then the rest of the year they are slandering and demoralizing the poor and disabled by calling them “lazy welfare leaches that are a drain on society and the government and who are always looking for entitlements and handouts.”
Why are we the target of your disgust one time and then the object of your giving the next? Are we invisible to you until you need brownie points with your employers, the public, your political party or your church? Why give to someone or some cause that you obviously don’t respect or care about throughout the rest of the year.
The answer is that it looks good to the world and their giving is purposely orchestrated to be warm, emotional, sensational, heartfelt and to appear sincere so as to impress others that they care and to win a positive public image and qualify for a charitable tax write-off before tax season.
The calculating and manipulative public giver-contributor, benefactor is always presented with praise and honor and then expected to appear as if they didn’t expect any notoriety for the actions that they arranged to have seen and publicized. Their false humility is too obvious and their need to be publicly recognized for something that they should genuinely desire to do daily is spiritually sickening.
The pride of the world promotes this behavior but YHVH does not.
Matthew 6:2-4 (CEB)
2 “Whenever you give to the poor, don’t blow your trumpet as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets so that they may get praise from people. I assure you, that’s the only reward they’ll get. 3 But when you give to the poor, don’t let your left hand know what your right hand is doing 4 so that you may give to the poor in secret. Your Father who sees what you do in secret will reward you.
Our motives and attitudes when giving matters to God. The Holy Scriptures Tell us that GOD loves a cheerful giver. But Christ tells us in his own WORDS that The FATHER rewards the one who gives in secret.
I’d rather give cheerfully in secret than get caught up in public displays of insincere acts of token generosity.
THANK GOD FOR THE ANONYMOUS GIVER. MAY ALL THE BLESSINGS THAT YOUR HEART DESIRES BE YOURS IN CHRIST NAME. Amen.
