Christianity is a term originally derived from the cynics of the followers of Yehowshua Ha’ Mashiach (Mistranslated Jesus Christ). The term was later used by both critics and admirer to refer to the Disciples of the Holy Messiah. However, there is no scripture record where the disciples or apostles of the Messiah referred to each other as “Christians.” (Acts 11:19-26)
Christianity is a religion derived from the message about Jesus Christ that later became anchored in the translated and censored canon of Scriptures called The Bible which is considered sacred and professed by Eastern, Roman Catholic, and Protestant bodies.
[Note: Many if not all of the original Holy Spirit inspired letters of the Apostles and Books of Holy Scriptures About The life and teachings of the Messiah were lost and/or persecuted out of existence. And all that is now available are versions and translations orchestrated and facilitated by corrupt and immoral government officials, emperors and Kings and hired scholars who were motivated upon threat of torture, death or excommunication, to translate the scriptures in favor of the ruling Church-Government and its understanding of Christianity.]
Christianity is a broad-based religious system that asserts that its religion is based in the Bible that it translated and founded upon the name of Jesus Christ. However, just as there are many translations of the Bible, there are many versions of Christianity with varied religious traditions and practices. At last count, there were over 40,000 different versions of organized Christian institutions and churches including those not related to any Catholic or Protestant denominations.
This splintered, denominated and schizoid religion called “Christianity” doesn’t resemble anything of the Authentic FAITH OF THE MESSIAH that was taught, preached and practiced by the authentic disciples and chosen Apostles of the Messiah. It resembles more of a system of organized religious businesses or corporate institutions with franchises that are driven by capitalism, shrouded in theological rhetoric and operated by unconverted individuals whose devotion is to their institution and their institutions’ version of salvation and holiness.
But I request of you, my brethren, in the name of our Lord Yeshua The Messiah, that all of you would have one speech, and that there would be no divisions among you, that you would be perfected in one mind and in one conscience. ~ 1 Corinthians 1:10 (Aramaic Translation)
For just as the body is one but has many parts; and all the parts of the body, though many, constitute one body; so it is with the Messiah. For it was by one Spirit that we were all immersed into one body, whether Jews or Gentiles, slaves or free; and we were all given the one Spirit to drink.
For indeed the body is not one part but many. If the foot says, “I’m not a hand, so I’m not part of the body,” that doesn’t make it stop being part of the body. And if the ear says, “I’m not an eye, so I’m not part of the body,” that doesn’t make it stop being part of the body. If the whole body were an eye, how could it hear? If it were all hearing, how could it smell? But as it is, God arranged each of the parts in the body exactly as he wanted them. Now if they were all just one part, where would the body be? But as it is, there are indeed many parts, yet just one body. So the eye cannot say to the hand, “I don’t need you”; or the head to the feet, “I don’t need you.” On the contrary, the parts of the body that seem to be less important turn out to be all the more necessary; and upon body parts which we consider less dignified we bestow greater dignity; and the parts that aren’t attractive are the ones we make as attractive as we can, while our attractive parts have no need for such treatment. Indeed, God has put the body together in such a way that he gives greater dignity to the parts that lack it, So that there will be no disagreements within the body, but rather all the parts will be equally concerned for all the others. Thus if one part suffers, all the parts suffer with it; and if one part is honored, all the parts share its happiness.
Now you together constitute the body of the Messiah, and individually you are parts of it. ~ 1 Corinthians 12:12-27 (Complete Jewish Bible)
Regardless of how you translate it or look at it, there is no scriptural support for the multiple divisions and denominations created by the religion of “Christianity.” I contend that this is of man’s creation and not of GOD.
It is interesting to note that Most Christian theologians and believers never question the authenticity of the term “Christian” as it applies to them. They never ask the questions: Why didn’t the Apostles of The Messiah refer to born again souls as “Christians?”
They never ask the question: Why didn’t YHVH or His Chosen Apostles ever use the term “Christian” to refer to each other as followers of the Messiah?
For the original followers of the Messiah, being referred to as a “Saint of God” seems to have been appropriate and good enough. And it is good enough for me.
