1 Peter 1:15-19  (CEV)

¹⁵ Always live as God’s holy people should, because God is the one who chose you, and he is holy. ¹⁶ That’s why the Scriptures say, “I am the holy God, and you must be holy too.”

¹⁷ You say that God is your Father, but God doesn’t have favorites! He judges all people by what they do. So you must honor God while you live as strangers here on earth. ¹⁸ You were rescued from the useless way of life that you learned from your ancestors.  But you know that you were not rescued by such things as silver or gold that don’t last forever. ¹⁹ You were rescued by the precious blood of Christ, that spotless and innocent lamb.

It still amazes me how the perverted, twisted, deceived, silly and unsaved are still trying to tell those who are led by the Holy Spirit what their job is and is not, especially when it comes to declaring God’s Judgment on unholiness and sexual immorality.  They want the watchman on the watchtower to be quiet and shut up about their sins and sinful desires. (Ezekiel 33:7-9) But in actuality, if they had not spoken out against the messenger of God, no one would know of their disgusting and vile practices. Their own objection to the Word of God has revealed their rebellion against God and uncovered their sin.  It would be funny if it weren’t so sad.

God didn’t stutter when He said “Be Holy.” And that means to be Holy in every area of our lives, including intimate relations with our spouse.  That is the only way that the marriage chamber can remain undefiled and holy. (Hebrews 13:4)  Nothing, including marriage, can change God’s Command to be Holy.  Being married doesn’t exempt one from having sinful desires or of being guilty of sexual perverseness (anal sex and oral sex and all type sex that is against God’s natural design and purpose for His creation).

The problem with some of us is that we want holiness and salvation on our terms and not God’s.  In addition, some of us want to apply a perverted definition or corrupted interpretation of holiness to a “Divine Revelation of Holiness” that only comes from God.” (1 Corinthians 2:14)

There are many professed Christians who have a warped and corrupted understanding of the Word of God as it pertains to Salvation and Holiness. They are limited and defeated by their own sinful lusts.  Their understanding is rendered impotent by their dependency on their human interpretations of God’s Word. (1 Corinthians 1:19-21)  They remain ignorant of TRUE holiness because they have not trusted in or obeyed and submitted to the Spirit of Christ that speaks out of those whom God has specifically sent to instruct them. (Romans 10:14 and 2 Peter 1:21)  They trust only in themselves, their intellect, their human spirit and their manmade Faiths.  They cannot receive any revelation from God because divine revelation only come from the Hoy Spirit and God’s Spirit will not dwell in an unholy person or anything unclean, vile, perverted, corrupted, rebellious and contrary to God’s created purpose and natural order.  As a matter of fact and as a matter of Holy Scripture, folks with sinful sexual desires cannot come to the knowledge of the Truth. (2 Timothy 3:6)  They must first REPENT – die to their sinful and lustful desires of the flesh.

For the Holy Scriptures witnesses against those who profess Christ yet remain unholy, sexually immoral, sexually perverted and wicked and stubborn in their attitudes and rebellious in their behaviors:

“Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.…” (2 Timothy 3:6-7)

As I have taught on previous occasions, we can’t help everybody.  Somebody will undoubtedly make a decision to follow their sinful flesh into condemnation and hell.

All that we can do as saint of God is pray to The FATHER to draw them out of the darkness of their sinful lusts and into the marvelous light of His divine Holiness. (John 6:44, Romans 13:14, 1 Peter 2:11 and 1 John 2:16)
