ON THE DAY AFTER CHRISTMAS IN THE YEAR THAT THE CHRISTIAN SABBATH (SUNDAY) AND THE WORLD’S CHRISTMAS FESTIVAL WERE OBSERVED AND WORSHIPPED TOGETHER.
Deuteronomy 12:3-5 (ESV)
3 You shall tear down their altars and dash in pieces their pillars and burn their Asherim with fire. You shall chop down the carved images of their gods and destroy their name out of that place. 4 You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way. 5 But you shall seek the place that the Lord your God will choose out of all your tribes to put his name and make his habitation there. There you shall go,
Jeremiah 10:1-3 (CJB)
Hear the word Adonai speaks to you, house of Isra’el! 2 Here is what Adonai says: “Don’t learn the way of the nations,
don’t be frightened by astrological signs,
even if the nations are afraid of them;
3 for the customs of the peoples are nothing; their rituals are hollow.
What Do You Do When You Have Offended YHVH The ALMIGHTY AND ETERNAL?
Folks tremble in fear of punishment when caught in an offense and made to face the judicial wrath of the authorities.
Many people have a healthy and well-justified fear of the Police and Highway Patrol, especial when they have offended the Speed Laws and have shown disregard and disrespect for the governing authorities.
But I have noticed that there are generations of professed believers who do not demonstrate the same reverence for YHVH and HIS COMMANDS that they do for church policy, Christian traditions, World festivals and social moralities.
It would surprise many of us to know that WE HAVE OFFENDED GOD.
NOW WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU HAVE OFFENDED THE ALMIGHTY YHVH?
Many, through their blasphemous and humanly contrived religious festivals, rituals and traditions, have decided to continue offending GOD. And to add insult to injury, they also deceitfully and without authority, assign GOD’S HOLY NAME to their wicked works. (Matthew 7:21-23) In addition, these workers of wickedness brazenly and without reservations of any kind, encourage and reward others to mimic their wickedness in the name of the GOD who they continually offend although they have been told the TRUTH. (Revelation 12:9 and 1 Timothy 4:1)
Now here is a question for you to ponder: Do You Think That The Brazenly Disobedient Should Inherit The Same Reward As The Diligently Obedient and Repentful?
Deuteronomy 32:3-4
“For I proclaim the name of the LORD; Ascribe greatness to our God! The Rock! His work is perfect, For all His ways are just; A God of faithfulness and without injustice, Righteous and upright is He.”
Please don’t forget that YHVH is a Just GOD and He does not lie. Whatsoever we sow we will ultimately reap. If we sow offenses then we will reap the wrath of the offended. And if we do not repent then we will reap the judgment of GOD.
