A bumblebee dropped into an open glass tumbler will stay there until it dies! It never sees the means of escape at the opened top, but persists in trying to find some way out through the sides or near the bottom. It will insist on seeking a way out where none exists, until it completely destroys itself and dies.
Many believers behave just like the bumblebee. Whenever they are dropped into the difficulties and hardships of life. they insist on seeking a way out that doesn’t exist. They are persistent with seeking advice from horoscopes, false prosperity preachers, religions, churches and sage counselors. Some continuously and foolishly engage in the occult – witch doctors and voodoo workers and spiritualists. They only have hope in what is around them and beneath them and in what they feel that they can control. They persistently struggle to find an escape where none exists until they completely destroy themselves.
They never look up.
However, the believer who is truly a saint – born from above – knows to look up.
Keep Looking Up My Friends!

15 Then he said to the crowd, “Don’t be greedy! Owning a lot of things won’t make your life safe.”
16 So Jesus told them this story:
A rich man’s farm produced a big crop, 17 and he said to himself, “What can I do? I don’t have a place large enough to store everything.”
18 Later, he said, “Now I know what I’ll do. I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones, where I can store all my grain and other goods. 19 Then I’ll say to myself, ‘You have stored up enough good things to last for years to come. Live it up! Eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.’”
20 But God said to him, “You fool! Tonight you will die. Then who will get what you have stored up?”
21 “This is what happens to people who store up everything for themselves, but are poor in the sight of God.”
(Luke 12:15-21)
If you got everything that you’ve ever wanted and the health and strength to enjoy it and the loved ones to share it with, but you don’t have any pity on the poor or concern for the oppressed, orphans and widows and you don’t share your wealth with others and you don’t have an intimate relationship with GOD whereby you are storing up treasurers in Heaven, how would your material wealth serve you if at the end of the day you died?
Prosperity and material wealth are all overrated.
Try CHRIST!

The world system, through colorful language and media imagery will appeal to our senses and feelings and associate a positive and pleasurable experience with a deadly and destructive behavior, product or lifestyle.
The beer commercials never show a drunk in the street puking her guts out, cussing her children out with her husband divorcing her. They always show a beautiful woman in an eloquent setting being admired by men.
The movie and entertainment industry habitually show men and women engaging in what seems like very pleasurable acts of mutually enjoyable sex but they never show the physical and psychological hell of HIV/AIDS, unwanted pregnancies, herpes, chlamydia and other STDs as well as the dependency on legal and illegal drugs to maintain sexual arousal and performance.
The powers of the world system, through its laws, social policies and propaganda media attempts to transform the Holiness of God’s Word and Commandments into “intolerance.” (Ref. Daniel 7:25)
Satan’s world and his ministers label those of us who would stand for the righteousness of the kingdom of God as being “sanctimonious.” (God Is Apostolic – by Bishop O.W. Prince, Page 146, Publish America Publishers, 2004)
The devil and her ministers always make damning sin look harmless, enjoyable, popular, prosperous and pleasurable. Satan always twists things to make her evil look like good and the Truth of God look like a lie.
Therefore, I exhort you my beloved friends and readers to beware of Satan’s system of false righteousness and political correctness while it is called “Today,” lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin – the lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes, and the boastful pride of life. (Ref. Hebrews 3:13)

Does the accumulation of things make you happy?
Are you highly motivated to obtain wealth?
Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned…” – John 15:4-6
In this life, with some help and good fortune, you may gain wealth and material possessions but…
DON’T GET IT TWISTED!
“Without God you have nothing even though you may have everything!”
