Deuteronomy 18:9-12

“When you come into the land that the Lord your God is giving you, you shall not learn to follow the abominable practices of those nations. There shall not be found among you anyone who burns his son or his daughter as an offering, anyone who practices divination or tells fortunes or interprets omens, or a sorcerer or a charmer or a medium or a necromancer or one who inquires of the dead, for whoever does these things is an abomination to the Lord. And because of these abominations the Lord your God is driving them out before you.

Galatians 5:19-21

Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery… I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Today’s message is speaking to us about the sin of sorcery and sorcery type behaviors.

No one can use the services of root workers, spiritualists, “Readers,” spiritual advisors, witches or warlocks, magic, practitioners of Wicca and Satanism, wizards, mediums, fortune-tellers, psychics or anything magical, mystical, supernatural, or occult against a child of God or to control the plan of FATHER GOD (YHVH) or to enhance their fortune, luck or success and think that they will inherit eternal life.   SAINTS OF YHVH are forbidden from having any relationship with such witchcraft and Satanic forces. Anyone consulting the occult or subscribing to the supernatural is only damning themselves and bringing about the wrath of God on their souls and in their lives.

However, the sad truth is that many so-called Christians engage the services of the supernatural and the occult on a regular basis.  The do so in order to get a wife or husband or to keep a man or women under control or to get a job and even to acquire a pastorate or to keep the Pastor under control and submissive to them.

I have heard of some pretty nasty and disgusting practices of some Christian believers. 

I have heard of women placing some of their monthly menstruation (bloody waste) in the food and drink of the man that they want to marry and conquer and the man actually becomes docile and marries them.  I have heard of folks putting some of their urine in the drink and/or food of their perspective mates and their children in order to “Tame” them or make them more timid and obedient to their whims and desires.  I have heard of folks burying certain articles of someone’s clothing in a certain manner in order to keep that person at home or sexual faithful and aroused by only them.

You probably have noticed someone who has been attacked by the powers of Satan or maybe you have experienced the attacks yourself.

Some of the symptoms maybe a lack of interest or energy to do what you normally were passionate and enthusiastic about doing or the influences of Satanism may manifest as a sudden or gradual sleepiness and tiredness that medical science cannot explain.  Sometimes the work of Satan is misdiagnosed as a mental or emotional sickness that came out of nowhere and alienated that person from others and from God.  Sometimes Satan’s handiwork results in the death of friendships, the death of healthy desires and the death of healthy interaction between family members.  And sometimes the devil’s influence manifests as an overwhelming temptation or sensual seduction to engage in perverted sex (oral and anal sex) and things that are not ordained or approved of by God.  Satan knows how to divide and conquer and separate a person from God and the ones who can see the enemy clearly and rescue them from the ravages of satanic influences.  In addition, a person’s own sinful nature (pride, lust, sexual immorality, stubbornness, greed, etc.) makes them blind, susceptible and vulnerable to the works of Satan – blinding them to the truth or prohibiting them from truly repenting and seeking salvation and deliverance.

God has permitted the devil power over this world for a time. (Daniel 7:25, 2 Corinthians 4:4)  And Satan is doing his thing exceptionally well and he has no shortage of wicked, perverse and deceived folks working for him. 

“Satan Doesn’t Have An Unemployment Line.”  He Is Fully Staffed.  And he recruits many from within Christian churches and from Christian pulpits.  Yes! There are some preachers, evangelist, religious leaders and church officers who use the occult – carrying around charms and mystical artifacts, visiting graveyards and reciting incantations as prayers of manipulation and control.

Let us be clear.  This is Satan’s world. (Matthew 4:8-9) The devil has power over this world.  And some folks who are professed churchgoing Christians, and who are also believers in the supernatural and who are, by default, worshipers of the devil and his lies, may appear to be successful for a while when using the devil devices and tactics to manipulate others and get wealth but they will have hell to pay later.

However, REAL SAINTS do not do such things.  But the problem is that genuine Holy Spirit filled SAINTS aren’t exempted from the influence of Satan while living in this world!  The Word of God doesn’t say that we will be spared or exempted from the devils attacks.  To the contrary, God’s Word promises us that in this world we shall have tribulations. (John 16:33)  But our hope is in Christ who overcame the world and that through Him and the Power of His Blood that we will become more than conquers over sin as well as OVER the powers of the evil one.  This promise of God doesn’t always mean that we will overcome while traveling through this world as some have preached but that in the end we are going to win and be eternally victorious with Christ. 

If we were to carefully read Romans 8:36-39 we would see that many Born-Again SAINTS (NOT CHRISTIANS) will suffer many things, even death.  But in spite of the things we suffer, we will not be separated from the love of GOD.  And 1 John 5:4-5 tells us that our faith in Christ Jesus (YEHOWSHUA THE HOLY MESSIAH FROM THE FATHER) gives us the victory.

No matter what, do not lose your Faith or doubt God’s LOVE.  This is what the devil really wants us to do when he attacks us on every front and in every area of our lives.  If he can get us to lose our Faith (Trust, Obedience, Submissiveness, LOVE, and Hope) in God and in Christ, then he has won.

Our only salvation is Faith in Christ and God’s Ordained Instruction on how to be saved. (John 3:3-7, Acts 2:38-42 and Acts 4:12)

When we have been genuinely born again of the Water and of the Spirit as commanded by God, then we have a real hope of salvation and an advocate with the Father – Jesus Christ the righteous. (John 14:16 and Romans 8:34)

When we are born again children of God, our enemies become the enemies of God.  And God will hear the cries of His children and he will come to our rescue in due time.  We can depend upon God’s Faithfulness and count on His justice toward those who trouble us.  (2 Thessalonians 1:6, Deuteronomy 32:34-36, Romans 12:19 and Hebrews 10:31)

The devil has power but God has All POWER! Amen! (Romans 8:31 and Ephesians 1:19-21)

Psalm 34:17-22

¹⁷ When the righteous cry out, the Lord listens;

he delivers them from all their troubles.

¹⁸ The Lord is close to the brokenhearted;

he saves those whose spirits are crushed.

¹⁹ The righteous have many problems,

but the Lord delivers them from every one.

²⁰ He protects all their bones;

not even one will be broken.

²¹ But just one problem will kill the wicked,

and those who hate the righteous will be held responsible.

²² The Lord saves his servants’ lives;

all those who take refuge in him

won’t be held responsible for anything.

Prayer For Deliverance From Witchcraft.

Heavenly Father, I come to You in the powerful name of the HOLY MESSIAH. I ask You FATHER YHVH in accordance with your promises in John 14:13 and 14 to destroy and nullify any and all works of witches, warlocks, wizards, Satanists, and the like, and destroy the power of all curses, hexes, vexes, spells, charms, fetishes, physic prayers, physic thoughts, sorcery, magic, voodoo, all mind control, jinxes, potions, bewitchments, sickness, pain, torments, physic power, physic warfare, prayer chains and everything evil and contrary to your perfect will for our lives and well-being. Please FATHER GOD Cast all of the wicked works of Satan and their demonic spirits that facilitate them into the Abyss. Furthermore, I ask that your vengeance against those who war against us be softened with compassion and forgiveness. I also pray that those who operate as our enemies be drawn out of darkness into the marvelous light of your salvation and loving kindness. I also pray that those who stubbornly and arrogantly refuse to repent and confess their sin of witchcraft and idolatry be judged by you and made to be just as useless, powerless and nullified as their dead works. I pray this prayer to the Glory of God and in the authority of Christ. Amen!
