TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
Mark 10:17-27 New American Standard Bible (NASB)The Rich Young Ruler
17 As He was setting out on a journey, a man ran up to Him and knelt before Him, and asked Him, “Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?” 18 And Jesus said to him, “Why do you call Me good? No one is good except God alone. 19 You know the commandments, ‘Do not murder, Do not commit adultery, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Do not defraud, Honor your father and mother.’” 20 And he said to Him, “Teacher, I have kept all these things from my youth up.” 21 Looking at him, Jesus felt a love for him and said to him, “One thing you lack: go and sell all you possess and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” 22 But at these words he was saddened, and he went away grieving, for he was one who owned much property.
23 And Jesus, looking around, *said to His disciples, “How hard it will be for those who are wealthy to enter the kingdom of God!” 24 The disciples were amazed at His words. But Jesus answered again and said to them,“Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! 25 It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.” 26 They were even more astonished and said to Him, “Then who can be saved?” 27 Looking at them, Jesus said, “With people it is impossible, but not with God; for all things are possible with God.”
For those who place considerable value and trust in themselves and boast of their intellect, their self-discipline, their own integrity, their own understanding, their own wisdom, their own worth and wealth, they will find it most difficult to follow and obey the commands of God and of Christ and the leading of YHVH’S HOLY SPIRIT.
Lots of believers boast in their church membership and the number of years that they have served in an organized religious institution.
Lots of believers boast about their particular religious institutions, worship facilities, denominations and Pastors.
Lots of believers boast in their obedience to the 10 Commandments of God and their abstinence from certain social and religious taboos.
Lots of believers boast in their repentance, their water baptism in the name of Jesus Christ and in their gift and sign of having been endowed with the HOLY SPIRIT – speaking in tongue.
Lots of believers boast in their religiosity and the strength of their Faith and in their tithing and giving. (Matthew 7:21-23)
In their minds they are rich in righteousness and rich toward God. But they have not considered being rich in generosity toward their fellow believers and the children of YHVH.
They have become twisted. They boast in their works and feel entitled to salvation because of their works. They have confused Loving and FAITHFUL obedience to YHVH with their own human principle of works in exchange for pay and reward.
And without realizing it, they have become disciples and worshipers of themselves and of their own religious creations, institutions, traditions, churches, achievements, accolades, wealth and intellect. (Exodus 20:3 and Deuteronomy 5:7)
2 Corinthians 10:17-18
But HE WHO BOASTS IS TO BOAST IN THE LORD. For it is not he who commends himself that is approved, but he whom the Lord commends.1 Corinthians 1:30-31
But by His doing you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, and righteousness and sanctification, and redemption, so that, just as it is written, “LET HIM WHO BOASTS, BOAST IN THE LORD.”
We must remember that it is YHVH who saves us and not we ourselves. And we must remember that it is impossible to enter the Kingdom of God through works or through the religious institutions, traditions and churches of men.
“But if we were to humble ourselves, confess our sins and repent; all things are possible with God.”

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
Christianity has really advanced since its early beginnings.
At one time in Christianity it was frowned upon for anyone calling themselves Christian to be engaged in fornication/adultery. But not anymore. Now premarital sex and open adultery are all tolerated in the Christian community.
At one time in Christianity a young woman who was single and found to be pregnant was frowned upon and made ashamed of her sin. But not anymore. Now fornication and single parenting is rewarded by church sponsored baby showers and congratulatory greetings.
At one time in Christianity we were taught to be ashamed of ourselves for misbehaving or sinning against the Commandments of God. But not anymore. Christianity has advanced beyond shame.
When was the last time that you heard of anyone being ashamed of their unwed pregnancy?
When was the last time that you heard of anyone being ashamed of their fornicating practices?
When was the last time that you heard of anyone being ashamed of their adulterous sexual behavior?
When was the last time you heard of anyone being ashamed of their homosexual lifestyle and behavior?
Contemporary Christianity has advanced beyond shame and entered an age of tolerance.
And where there is no shame, (feeling of guilt, regret, or sadness that you have because you know you have done something wrong) there is no need to repent or to be forgiven. And where there is no need to be forgiven, there is no need for a savior. And where there is not a need for a savior, there is no need for God or Christ.
According To Modern Society, Contemporary Christianity Has Really Advanced.
But thus saith the LORD, “I have this against Contemporary Christianity, that you have left your first love and that your moral consciences have been ‘cauterized’ and rendered insensitive and numb to the Spirit of Holiness and you no longer feel shame for your disobedience but arrogance, pride and entitlement.”
And since you no longer feel shame, you are unable to truly repent and your sins remain. And no sinner shall inherit eternal life.
Hear what the Spirit is saying unto the CHURCH!

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!!!
Do not be bound together with unbelievers; for what partnership have righteousness and lawlessness, or what fellowship has light with darkness? Or what harmony has Christ with Satan, or what has a believer in common with an unbeliever? What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; just as God said, “I WILL DWELL IN THEM AND WALK AMONG THEM; AND I WILL BE THEIR GOD, AND THEY SHALL BE MY PEOPLE. “Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN; And I will welcome you. “And I will be a father to you, And you shall be sons and daughters to Me,” Says the Lord Almighty. ~ 2 Corinthians 6:14-18
There is something different and precious about God’s sons and daughter that translates into us being separated from the world and its Prince and all of his evils.
Because of this, some may call us peculiar. And so we are. (1 Peter 2:9)
The Holy Scriptures affirms that “Friendship with the world is hatred toward God.” (James 4:4)
And because we love the Lord, we seek to obey His commandment to come out from among the wicked, ungodly, unclean and sexually immoral.
It is said that “Birds of a feather flock together.” And it is also said that “Association brings about assimilation.”
These saying mean that people of like minds and desires are usually found together and that if you associate with evil you will eventually imitate evil and become evil yourself. Thus the stern command from the LORD.
“Therefore, COME OUT FROM THEIR MIDST AND BE SEPARATE,” says the Lord. “AND DO NOT TOUCH WHAT IS UNCLEAN.”
God also indicates that those of us who obey His Command and separate ourselves from sin and Satan would be welcomed by Him and be called His sons and daughters.
We may be in the world but we are not of the world. We were born of the water and of the Spirit into the kingdom of God and we are no longer citizens of the world but children of God. We have nothing in common with Satan or his world. And, if in deed we are born again, God forbid that we should dare grieve The Holy Spirit that was made to tabernacle in us by partnering or joining ourselves with the world. (1 John 4:13, Ephesians 4:30)
AMEN.
