Beware of Being Politically Correct! It can blur the line between God and Satan – being holy and being wicked.
1 Corinthians 10:21 says,
“You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and the cup of demons too; you cannot have a part in both the Lord’s table and the table of demons.”
There are a number of good well-intentioned people who are unaware that they have compromised their relationship with God as well as weakened their witness by being politically correct and tolerant of that which God says to reject and expose as unholy. (James 4:4)
Any career, person or thing that prevents us from doing what God instructs us to do is sinful. Any career, person or thing that prevents us from speaking against the vile and revolting sin of homosexuality and same-sex marriage and threatens us with sanctions and reprisals for having outspoken Faith is something that we can live without. Anything and anyone that comes between us and God’s righteousness (Eternal Life) is wrong and could cost us our eternal salvation.
The problem with some of us is that we aren’t concerned with living for Christ and dying for Christ. Being a living sacrifice for Christ isn’t on our agenda. (Romans 12:1 and Philippians 1:21) We aren’t concerned with losing our salvation as much as we are concerned with losing our careers, friends, homes, money, social standing, political power, lifestyle and things. (Matthew 16:24-26 and Matthew 19:29) So we try to straddle the fence and be “politically correct” and tolerant of wickedness and demons. We try to go along to get along. But is this God’s Way?
Political correctness isn’t anything new to Christians. It has always been around and it has always attempted to shut the mouths of God’s messengers – to effectively dilutes our Faith and nullifies our witness.
Just look at Peter and the rest of the apostles in Acts 5:27-29 (CEV):
When the apostles were brought before the council, the high priest said to them, “We told you plainly not to teach in the name of Jesus. But look what you have done! You have been teaching all over Jerusalem, and you are trying to blame us for his death. Peter and the apostles replied:
We don’t obey people. We obey God.
Now I will ask you to please examine yourselves by asking yourselves the following 7 questions:
- Who are you obeying by your silence?
- Who are you obeying by your compliance?
- Who are you obeying by being politically correct and tolerant of demons and sin?
- Can anyone truly tell whose side you are on?
- Do my family and friends know that I stand with God against all sexual sin?
- Have I spoken out against sin as I ought or have I gone along to get along?
- Does my church and/or pastor go along to get along?
Prophetically speaking, I would like to say that we are already in the year of the BEAST of Daniel 7 and Revelation 13 and many just aren’t aware of it. We are in the end-times and the saints are being abused everyday and Christ is under attack.
